New Date for STL Handmade Feature!
My new date is May 29th. I'm going to work on being in just about every Saturday Showcase between now and then though so I can get a little exposure.

Blackberry Betty
I'm really pushing the seasons now I think. Fake blackberries, flowers, a large fuzzy green leaf and a deep purple ribbon all on a light green springy headband. Great for fun now or later this summer!

More on the custom wedding order
So my wedding order is almost done- working on the final details for the MOH. The maids' pieces are finished. The MOH is the larger one in pic 2- the maids are the others...

Waiting for Spring
A theme of several of the things I've been making lately is Waiting for Spring.
The collection consists of birds, butterflies, bees, bugs and flowers all in interesting arrangements on headbands, clips and combs.

Custom Wedding Order
Again no new item today because I've been working on a custom wedding order.
The colors are jewel tones with an emphasis on plum. Peacock feathers are included as well as vintage rhinestone buttons. I'll post some pictures once the bride-to-be okay's the mock-ups.
For now, here's a hint at the palette.
Date for Feature on STL Handamade?
July 20th- but I'm told it may actually be earlier than that. I'll keep you posted.

No new item-NEWS INSTEAD!
No new item today but some news... I know, only the second day in my trial run and I'm already behind.
Okay news-- I'm going to be a featured artist on STL Handmade.com .
It's a site that "celebrates handmade creativity and artistry among residents of the St. Louis metro area." I think it's pretty cool!

Decision
So in hopes of trying to make something new everyday and also to use this blog more, I'll be making a concerted effort to post at least one picture of something I've created that day, everyday. (I hope that last part made sense...it did in my head anyway).
