Storque Feature... well, almost.

One of my Urban Nomad EcoFelt Headbands was included in a feature from Etsy's blog, the Storque. The feature was on hats and accessories...

I was just in the related items at the bottom, but that is so much better than not being included at all. (I just wish they'd have picked another color... the Orange Sherbet one is so blah in pictures. Oh well, at least I was included!!)

New Jewelry

I made this new necklace today. I think it turned out nicely... rather striking and definitely unique.

Koi Pond Necklace-- Citrine, Butterscotch Chalcedony, Freshwater Pearl and Cloisonne Fish

This one I made yesterday. It's a bit weighty so may take it's buyer some 'breaking in' before long wear times.

To Spam or not to spam..

The Etsy high-ups just threw out this great post about spamming/not spamming on social networking and Etsy forums/Storque. I thought it was SO TIMELY.

I myself am sometimes guilty of being a little over-enthusiastic on my Twitter about my new items... sorry Tweeps if any of you have felt spammed. I will only post and RT the coolest items now. Promise. Well, I'll try at least...

I also get the feeling that most of you follow me for a reason...

1) You're a friend of mine IRL.

2) You're interested in my items or the category my items fit within.

3) You're just looking for followers... any which person will do as long as they follow back.

4) You're a bot. Enough said.

For all of you, thank you for following me here at the blog, on Etsy, on Twitter or on Facebook. I really appreciate your support and /rare/sometime/frequent/constant comments and suggestions. I could not keep going without you.

I will however try to refrain from ticking you off. Let me know if I have/ever do. Pretty please?!

I made it into my first ever juried indoor booth craft show! *Sqeeee! * (What does that mean you say? Well..... A LOT! Check out that link above to learn more.)

I'll be at the St. Louis Craft Mafia's Indie Craft Revolution Show at the St. Louis Artists' Guild (Oak Knoll Park, Clayton MO) on March 13th from 10-6 and 14th from 10-4.

Come out and support me and handmade as well as lots of other local artists and crafters!
